Colombia and Argentina’s home kits have been revealed ahead of this year’s Copa America.
adidas have produced the strips, with Mexico’s Gold Cup jersey another one announced by the worldwide sports manufacturer.
Argentina
Predominantly white, the Argentina 2019 Copa America jersey features just two sky blue stripes on the front and back, with a very unique and classy brush stroke effect applied to them.
The round and the sleeve cuffs are both dark blue, matching nicely with the adidas stripes, which sit on the shoulders, which are bright blue.
A press release said: “For the first time, the Argentine flag is the absolute protagonist in the design.
“In this edition, the layout of the traditional sky-blue vertical stripes gives space to the Argentine flag as never before.
“Starting from a white band in the centre, the only two blue stripes in front, depict perfectly the utmost patriotic symbol.”

Colombia
Colombia’s new style is very intriguing, going back in time by sporting a 1990s-inspired all-over print graphic, consisting of horizontal line of contrasting widths.
The jersey also features red numbers with the sleeves featuring a unique design – the same seen on the lifestyle adidas shirt.
A press release said: “The new uniform presents a design inspired by those textures that have embroidered Colombia’s history and that have made national products, world icons.
“The graphics based on all Colombian embroideries, are highlighted in the front of the jersey, with its traditional yellow shade and blue horizontal threads, giving a modern and aesthetic design to both, players and fans.
“The shoulders showcase the three stripes in blue, with the federation’s and the brand’s logos on the chest. The uniform is complemented by traditional blue shorts and red socks.”
Mexico
The third adidas home strip announced was El Tri’s latest effort which is a surprising black effort – a change from their usual green.
In a statement adidas explained: “The new uniform features a design inspired by the iconic Aztec match ball, used during the World Cup in Mexico 86.
“The graphics based on this pre-Hispanic empire, stand out on the front of the completely black jersey. The shoulders have the three stripes in white and the edges of the sleeves are highlighted by a green, white and red band.
“The uniform is complemented by shorts and black socks.”
