Championship promotion chasers Leeds United will be without the injured Barry Douglas for the rest of the season.
The Yorkshire outfit have confirmed that the left-back ruptured the medial ligament in his knee during Saturday̢۪s 3-2 win over Millwall at Elland Road.
The defender left Elland Road in a leg brace, with the scans revealing the club’s worst fears.
Douglas will be out of action for up to 12 weeks, with the recovery period therefore ruling him out of the Championship run-in.
The news comes as a big blow to Marcelo Bielsa’s men, who are two points clear of third place Sheffield United in the race for automatic promotion.

Next up for Bielsa’s men is a trip to Birmingham on Saturday, followed by a midweek game at Preston three days later.
