Tottenham, Liverpool and Juventus all ‘reach agreement’ with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele – reports

Tottenham, Liverpool and Juventus have all ‘reached an agreement’ to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports.

The 22-year-old is one of the most sought after players in Europe having impressed with a string of fine displays in Ligue 1 over the past two seasons.

Ndombele has enjoyed an impressive couple of seasons for Lyon and made his France debut in October

French outlet Euro United report the three clubs have been in touch with the player’s representatives over a move and have agreed personal terms to sign the Frenchman.

However, a deal is yet to be reached between Lyon and any of the interested parties over a transfer fee, with president Jean-Michel Aulas looking to get as much money from Ndombele’s exit as possible.

Spurs are believed to be the frontrunners for the 22-year-old’s signature, with boss Mauricio Pochettino personally expressing his interest in the player he has made his ‘top priority’ for the summer.

North London deal-makers are reportedly set to submit a ‘huge offer’ to the Ligue 1 club in a bid to prise him away from the French top-flight.

Last month, Lyon president Aulas told Tuttosport that he would love to see his player at Juventus with another one of his former stars Miralem Pjanic, but the latest developments suggest Spurs have shown the strongest interest in Ndombele.

He said: “It’s true that Juventus are after Ndombele. But there’s also PSG, Manchester United and City.

“I’d honestly like to see Ndombele at Juventus with [Miralem] Pjanic, a player we launched at Lyon and who I’m still very attached to.
