Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing the highly-rated Brazilian striker Everton.


Pep Guardiola’s side have been linked to the 23-year-old who currently plays at Gremio.

Everton recently signed a new deal with the club but it is thought that they would be willing to sell.


The Sun report that he has a buyout clause of £90million but the cash strapped club would be willing to accept an offer of around £45million and that City are ‘winning the race’.

City continue to keep tabs on Everton, though, in the hope of a summer transfer.


The Brazil international has been likened to his compatriot Gabriel Jesus, who arrived at the Etihad from Palmeiras in January 2017.















City have spoken to Gremio in recent days about Everton and a keen not to be beaten by AC Milan, according to sources in Brazil.


If he were to move to Manchester, he would join a growing Brazil contingent with Jesus, Ederson, Danilo and Fernandinho all at the club.
