Tottenham have released incredible time-lapse footage which shows their stadium being built from start to finish.
After several delays, Spurs will finally open the venue on April 3 for the Premier League visit of Crystal Palace, with an opening ceremony before the game kicks off.
And to get fans in the mood for their highly-anticipated homecoming, the club have shown how the impressive 62,000-capacity stadium in north London came to be.
Construction began in 2015 and was due to be completed in September 2018, but a series of setbacks have seen Tottenham play their home games at Wembley for the past two seasons.
LATEST FOOTBALL NEWS
The club will host two test events this month ahead of the grand opening, the first being an Under-18s fixture against Southampton on Sunday before a legends match against Inter Milan on March 30.
And despite all the postponements, the stadium looks like something worth waiting for.
It boasts several revolutionary features, including the world’s first dividing, retractable football pitch, which reveals a synthetic turf pitch underneath for NFL London Games, concerts and other events.
However, fans without a ticket will not be able to watch the first game against Crystal Palace – because neither Sky Sports nor BT Sport will televise it.
