Tottenham want Anthony Joshua’s next fight in the UK to be held at their new stadium, reports claim.
The world heavyweight champion is expected to return to the ring his homeland later this year after his New York title defence on June 1.
Joshua is yet to discover his opponent for that fight after Jarrell Miller failed three drug tests.
The Brit has previously fought in front of 90,000 at Wembley, and according to The Sun, Spurs want to make their 62,062-arena his new London home.
Unlike the Wembley surface, which was left in tatters following Joshua’s win over Alexander Povetkin in October, Spurs would simply slide the football pitch under the south stand and host the fight on the artificial surface underneath.

The idea suits both camps, with Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn admitting he would love to organise a bout at the ‘magnificent’ stadium.
He told Standard Sport: “I’d love to emulate the old man and put on a fight at the new Spurs ground.
“The big stadium shows are quite rare but you’re always looking out for places. And Joshua has outgrown the indoor arenas here.
“Tottenham’s new stadium looks magnificent. Its ultra-modern and state-of-the art.
“I don’t know what Spurs’ plans are but it could be another option among several in London.
“With no roof you’d be limited to dates between April and September. But it looks perfect.
