Ajax vs Tottenham: Spurs fans warned against purchasing unofficial tickets for Champions League semi-final in Amsterdam

Tottenham have issued a warning to supporters heading to Amsterdam for tonight’s Champions League semi-final against Ajax not to buy fake tickets.

Tickets have been seen advertised online by unofficial sellers for the crucial second leg at the Johan Cruyff Arena, but fans have been told not to purchase as they will not be granted entrance to the stadium at the electric turnstiles.

It is not the first time Spurs have had to warn their fans against illegal tickets, with several users putting their tickets up for sale on Twitter for the club’s first home match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Crystal Palace.

Tickets had been seen priced on social media for as much as £1,200 for a pair for the match, which Spurs went on to win 2-0.

Spurs will look to overturn a 1-0 deficit in tonight’s clash, with Donny van de Beek’s scoring in the first leg to give Ajax the advantage.

The winner of the last semi-final will go on to face Liverpool in the June 1 showpiece, after the Reds stunned Barcelona 4-0 on Tuesday night.
