Fan have been denied access to the Wanda Metropolitano for the Champions League final – despite having genuine tickets for the showdown between Tottenham and Liverpool.
Police have reportedly apprehended supporters outside the ground amid complaints over ‘heavy-handed tactics’.
According to the BBC, a Liverpool supporter was hit and pushed by Spanish police, while a Spurs fan was seized upon for allegedly stealing a ticket.
Natalie Pirks, a BBC reporter, tweeted: “Fans are complaining of being turned away, despite having genuine tickets, and police heavy handed tactics.
“One LFC fan was hit and pushed by police in front of me.

While the majority of fans have safely entered the stadium for the all-English showpiece, others have endured a nightmare journey to the Spanish capital.
Earlier today, hundred of Spurs supporters were delayed for seven hours at Stansted airport.
A Thomas Cook charter flight, due to take them to Madrid, suffered a bird strike on its way to London and was deemed unsafe to fly.
Thomas Cook sourced a replacement aircraft from Manchester which was due to take off at 4.30pm and land in Spain at 7.30pm local time – just an hour anc a half before kick-off.
